Part-Time Community Coordinator

Are you passionate about building communities, organizing events, and helping others succeed? Immigreat is our online community for immigrant founders, created to provide a supportive space for connection, learning, and growth. Since launching last year, we’ve grown to 1,000 members, and we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Community Coordinator to help us manage and grow the Immigreat community. This part-time role (20 hours per week) is perfect for someone who loves bringing people together, planning impactful events, and creating engaging content that fosters collaboration and connection.
What You’ll Do
Community Engagement & Growth
- Welcome and onboard new members to our Immigreat Slack community, ensuring they understand how to engage and connect meaningfully.
- Foster engaging conversations through prompts, relevant articles, and updates.
- Collaborate with ambassadors and community members to identify opportunities for growth and support.
- Gather feedback from members to continuously improve their experience.
Event Coordination
- Plan, promote, and execute virtual and in-person events for our immigrant founder community
- Create and manage event pages using Luma.
- Assist with logistics, registrations, and communication for webinars, meetups, and other events.
- Ensure post-event follow-ups, such as sharing resources and encouraging attendees to engage further with Immigreat.
Social Media Management
- Draft and schedule social media posts on LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter)
- Highlight founder success stories and events
- Monitor and report growth metrics weekly
